Dr. Peter Badger

Dr. Badger believes that in today’s day and age, an attractive smile is essential to one’s self-confidence. In both social and business circles, having a beautiful smile makes people feel better about themselves.

Dr. Badger was born and raised in the town of Dexter, Maine. He graduated with honors from the University of Maine at Orono with a B.S. in zoology in 1976. He was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the prestigious Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1980. He opened his office with Dr. Aspros later that year in Tallahassee.

Dr. Badger has remained active in continuing education over the years. He has maintained that providing quality care requires that he learn and master new techniques as they are developed. Staying current on these rapidly changing technologies is critical to delivering the quality of care he believes his patients deserve. His early adoption of tooth colored bonded restorations into his daily practice has enabled him to provide the latest advances to his patients.

Drs. Badger and Aspros have been team dentists for both professional and collegiate sports teams for over ten years. Having originally “cut their teeth” as dentists for the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks hockey team, they currently provide care for the full compliment of sports teams which comprise the Florida State University Seminoles.

DENTAL PHILOSOPHY

Dr Badger is a firm believer in comprehensive care. Although his primary concern is always to alleviate discomfort, he believes the health of the entire individual requires health in the entire body. Recent studies have confirmed the link between heart and gum disease, so Dr. Badger’s concerns for optimal oral health are well founded. Dr. Badger also believes that staying current on the rapidly changing technologies which are being developed daily is critical to delivering the quality of care he believes his patients deserve.

Dr. Badger is married to Alica who is one of our experienced business staff. They have three children, Christopher, Jonathan and Jennifer. Dr. Badger’s recreational activities are true to his roots. He loves the outdoors and his off time centers on hiking, camping and horseback riding.
